Saving and closing a Workbook

There is this nice feature in Google Spreadsheets. You need never have to worry about saving your documents. At specific intervals, unless the Google Server is too busy, your work is automatically saved.

As shown above, it even says when it was last saved: Date and time. In this example, the document Ontime AutoParts Inc. – Sales 2006 was last autosaved at Apr 29, 2007 1:11:43 PM.
In case you are working on an unnamed worksheet for long, there is a tip that comes to warn that you are doing so and urges to give a name to the document, so that Google can save it under this name automatically.

To close the workbook, click on the Save & Close button at the top right corner of the worksheet window, to first save the document in case Google has not saved it automatically at the time of your closing and then close the document.
